What a wonderful addition to the historical fiction/mystery genre that Victoria delights in writing. along with the Gaslight series, this is a welcome addition to the genre. Lizzie, a con-artist from a family of them ends up living a lie after falling in the suffragists in early 1900 in NY and Washington. In the middle of a very big con, Lizzie meets the Bates and Vanderslice families and opened up a brand new world that she thinks she will never be welcomed into. Great first book in the series. I hope to see many more stories. a little con, a little do-gooding, and little comeuppance and a whole lot of the Knickerbocker 400. Thanks for the fun read.
