My rating is not based on diminishing the gravity of the story, but is a reaction to missing much of the who, what, when, why, where, & how in this docudrama. "Sex Crimes & the Vatican" is a 2006 documentary that clearly demonstrates the full extent of the abuse &, in particular, explains why the church created a now infamous document in 1962 entitled, "Crimen Sollicitationis." This drama is revealing in its own way, but honestly, doing investigative journalism in real-time to create a film about the story is not that entertaining or educational. If anything this film confirms the "bias" of atheists, as they tend to use facts & evidence to support truth claims, rather than blind faith; many of the faithful choose to remain blind through cognitive dissonance & wilful blindness.
