Yes. Indeed. Impresario is actually quite an interesting biography that takes a close-up look "behind-the-curtains' at the man who hosted the longest-running TV variety show in US history. And that man was, of course, Ed Sullivan, himself.
To be sure - The sombre-looking Sullivan (who has often been hilariously impersonated) was a fiercely ambitious fellow who quickly achieved monumental celebrity status with his mega-popular television show that ran (almost without faltering) from 1948-1971.
