Where do I begin. Initially, I adored the idea. Geeky boy with a skin condition pretends to be a vampire? Sign me up! I don't like all the teen romance vampire books out there, and I hoped this one would be different. It blatantly makes fun of other vampire novels, yet it become one. The beginning of the book had poor grammar and sounded a bit like bad fan fiction. Another thing I despised about the book was the protagonist. He always talks about how the nice guy never gets the girl, and how he is so nice to girls, and he deserves one. He gets the girl the end, but not the one he should end up with. He ends up with the girl who lied to him, not the girl that stood by him. Maybe it's a good book to some people, but I was genuinely happy to be rid of it when I finished.
