Good parallax story about a somewhat neglected character in Hamlet, the girl Ophelia, who in this book becomes, for a while, part of Hamlet's plot to overthrow his uncle. The first two-thirds of the plot leads up to and includes the play, but since she appears in the play very little, you don't see much of the play itself. The last third of the story is what happens to her after the play's action has ended - obviously there are some surprises in store.
