Add a CommentReally enjoyed this sequel to “A Dog’s Purpose”. Great acting from both humans and canines and an uplifting ending.
Not a bad movie but I don't think I would want to watch again.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!
A good movie sequel with great tie-ins to the original film. You do not have to see 'Purpose' to enjoy 'Journey', it stands well on its own merit. Just the right amount of heart-felt, family friendly drama without going too over the top.
This started off so cutesy that I had a 1 1/2 star rating ready but in the end, we really enjoyed it. Good dog actors and the story ended up being decent. In lots of ways it was Hallmark with dogs but was much better than a Hallmark. We will probably go back and what the first one for sure.
Bailey Bailey Bailey Bailey Bailey!

A joyous, light hearted Disney movie about a reincarnated dog that brings joy and love to a selected group of individuals.

Cute dogs. Weak plot.
The stars: St. Bernard/Australian shepherd mix, beagle, mastiff and the, drum rolls, the Yorkie. Same review for its prequel "A Dog's Purpose 2017," also with Dennis Quaid, applies to this film for dog lovers:
Interesting take on a dog's purpose with the twist that connected all the dogs we have shared our own lives into one, though with different personalities, sizes, breed and pecking order in their owner's family. And yes, like them, we don't get to choose our parents, siblings, color of skin, communities where we call home etc., life is too short not to enjoy every moment. Suggest other movies for dog lovers as: "Hachi A Dog's Tale 2010 (and the Japanese original - Hachikō Monogatari 1987,)" "Quill 2004," "Oddball 2015" and "The Secret Life of Pets 2016."
This one's a heart tugger and if that's what you're into, bring tissues.
It's the second part of a 2 parter, based on a book.
The Library has the first movie too. It's called A Dog's Purpose. Get em' both and make a weekend out of it.
