This variation on "Freaky Friday" , "Big", and "13 going on 30" features absolutely fantastic acting by Issa Rae (HBO's Insecure) and Marsai Martin (ABC's blackish). Great energy and really funny dialogue at the start, but the film gets bogged down sending conflicting signals about how young people achieve their full potential. Are kids supposed to aspire to wealth so they can buy cool gear and show it off on social media, or should they flout peer pressure and be true to who they really are? A fair amount of sexually suggestive content seems problematic for the targeted middle-school audience.

Little as in little comedy, little acting, little fun, little plot, little characters, little direction and little production. A very little movie.

Comedy is often about timing and this movie missed just about all of them. The over-acting is so obvious and the directing is amateurish. Good moments her and there but not enough and not done well enough to illicit any real enjoyment. Dialogue also leaves much to be desired.

A one-star rating to just let others know It's not that I forgot to rate this hunk of irritating junk.

Actually laughed twice in the first 5 minutes. About 10 minutes later, couldn't believe I was watching the same movie, at a point which the lead character delivers over-the-top abuse to her wimpy professional "team."

It was supposed to be funny, but, my hands balled into fists and all I wanted to do was punch her.

That was it for me--and this movie.

On to the next DVD.

I found this movie pretty funny and hilarious. It was worth watching and it also had a lot of lessons that we can learn in life.

Cute and silly. Definitely made me chuckle a few times.

Get ready to live your best life, or at least what your best life might be like. Hotshot exec. Jordan Sanders gets an attitude makeover after rubbing one too many people the wrong way with her bully-esque ways.

This is one of my favourite movies. I had heard that this movie was really good, so I had to see if it really was that good. Let me tell you, it was wonderful to watch. Although some parts weren’t needed and it could have been kept more PG. But, overall the movie was really good and the moral behind it was really good too. The movie is basically about how an adult turns into a kid again just overnight. She hated herself when she was a kid and didn’t want to experience it again. So, she tried anything to turn back into an adult. But then she realized that she could have been kinder to everyone and she would have at experience without being a brat, she realized that this is the time to fix the mistakes she made in her childhood and to accept herself for how she is and not how she wants to be seen. After watching this movie I realized how much something can affect a person, sometimes people try to be someone that they aren’t just to escape themselves or because people don’t like you for who you are. People should accept themselves and not change themselves just because of what other people think. I know it’s easier to say than do but I knew about this before watching this movie but just saw it a bit more after watching this movie. I would rate this movie 4/5. @Khutoria of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Some funny moments as a comedy but unconvincing satire on stereotyping the cut throat male dominated tech business; and a MIT African American grad (pay attention -- diploma shown in one scene) whiz of a woman who chooses to be a shallow and abusive female boss's Piñatas? Disappointing.

Funny movie about a black aggressive business woman getting zapped back to 13 years old. It's not as good as Big with Tom Hanks, but the story explains why she became a mega witch. I enjoyed her escapades as the teenage Jordan with her assistant April pretending to be her relative. Justin Hartley is in the movie as her teacher in middle school she is crushing on to his dismay. Nice chick flick.

There she is. You know her: the person who just can't let you live your best life.
===
Be awake when I call.
-But... I don't know when you're gonna call, so when would I sleep?
When I'm not calling.
===
When I was a kid, I lived a hard-knock life. Mm-hmm. Anyway, I started getting into tech, and one day, I had to come to my dad and ask for a $10 million loan to start my company. And he's like, "What? "When you start a company, you don't get ten million. I'll give you five million." And that hurt.
===
And bring me back my clothes.
-Too late. I stretched them out.
===
You guys may be too young to understand this, but I bailed on being my true self because people told me I didn't count or fit in.
===
And you know I have your back, right? 'Cause I know how much winning means to you.
-But I've been winning the wrong way. I realize that I wasn't letting people be themselves because I never accepted myself. Now I know that I can win and still be me.
