I may not have understood a lick of the physics, but I understood what the author meant about entanglement, grief, love and loss. This is a masterful novel with a strong grasp on its characters. Loved it.

I liked that the main character in this story was a women physicist -- that's not something you see everyday. And also that she spends much of the book talking about modern concepts of physics with other characters. So, you get a little primer on cosmology, astrophysics, and quantum theory while reading a story about people. I can tell that this author, Nell Freudenberger, is an intellectual and a good story teller.

Smartly written with details, maybe too much, about physics. The supernatural aspect didn't grab me enough to go into the depth of it. The story about a dead friend texting was a clever thread and in the long run I was interested enough to finish.
