When Calgarian Robert Cohen moved to L.A. to pursue his dreams of becoming a comedy writer, he quickly realized that his new friends and colleagues knew nothing but the usual stereotypes about his beloved homeland. After years of frustration, Robert decided to embark on a personal quest, traveling from one end of Canada to the other, to prove Being Canadian is more than just maple syrup and Mounties. Imagine "Sherman's March" or "Roger and Me", but wearing a toque.

Some amazing scenery and clever Canadian take on issues from maple syrup heist to Canadian flag. I loved to guys commenting from under the sheets.

Was really fun to watch, no huge revelations, I wish there had been special features with longer bits of interviews. Amazing how many Canadians were interviewed for this piece. Like another commenter said, this is more for us, doubt many Americans will even hear of it. WHO CARES if an AMERICAN ever gets us. Since when do we need them to? Let's make our own way in the world and leave them to their narcissistic navel gazing, and we'll trip wherever we need to, apologizing all the way if necessary. ;)

I enjoy navel gazing so this was interesting but it's like it was made for Americans so they can have a better idea about what a Canadian is but I would be surprised if this movie drew and attention down south.

Canadians can laugh at themselves, very talented group here reviewing what makes a Canadian....of course, no conclusion is possible, that's the whole point of being Canadian...sorry....
