The book is built on two of FDR's 4 Freedoms - freedom from want and freedom from fear. My overall assessment of the book - BO-RING! The only thing I found myself in agreement with is that we need to bolster Canada's navy to deal with global crises emanating from those freedoms, big-time - from the handful of ships we have to 60, and not to be afraid to buy surplus stock from other countries rather than wait decades for our shipbuilding industry to fill in the order.
