I love this series. It makes it more interesting because it takes place close to home, but I love the characters and have read this series in order from the beginning. Can't wait for the next book and think I'll try some of her other novels while I wait.

Molly Smith and John Winters are the key characters in this novel about Walt Desmond who was wrongly conflicted of a murder and served 25 years in prison. Why would her return to Trafalgar, the scene of the crime? He just wants to know why. But can Winters and Smith solve this cold case after 25 years?
I liked the ending along with the surprise about Lucky Smith's personal life. A highly enjoyable read and recommended.

This one caught my eye because it takes place in my home province of BC. I didn't realize that it was part of a series (book 8) until I was hooked. Will look for more by this author.

I enjoyed this book very much. I've read the series, in order and I think with each book she develops or matures the characters. I was disappointed in the ending but that didn't take away my pleasure in the process.
