The description of this book does not do it credit! It is a wonderful and entertaining story about making friends that can be easily shared and discussed with a group of kids or one-on-one. Jessica is freaked out about being the new kid at school and is afraid she won't make friends. She tries some clever ways to make a friend but nothing works until she has pretty much given up hope. The whole story is really well done. Jessica is in a wheel chair but the story isn't about "a child in a wheelchair". It's a story about making friends and Jessica just happens to be in a wheelchair.
