Courtney Milan's writing and story line was wonderful. Her main characters/narrators (Mark and Jessica) were witty, intelligent, and kept me interested. The drama and love scenes were compelling without being over-the-top. Looking forward to reading more by this author!

This is a delicious book that has a wonderful romance and good writing. (Not all that common it turns out.) Courtney Milan has become one of my favorite romance writers over the past couple of weeks and this is the perfect summer read. Not only does it deal with a great relationship, but it turns the idea of the experienced rake on its head, and gives us a hero that believes chastity is the way to go.

I admit I didn't like the idea of Mark with a courtesan. Milan won me over (and brought me to tears) with her beautiful story. My favorite of the Turner books.
