Froot is the third studio album by the singer Marina and The Diamonds. It is a drastic change from her previous works The Family Jewels and Electra Heart. Whereas The Family Jewels and Electra Heart were darker albums that revolved around sadder times and sadder characters, Froot is more about healing and becoming who Marina wants to be. In theory this album is a great concept, but the execution is flawed. There are some great songs such as one of the singles I’m A Ruin and Immortal, but for the most part it is not her best work. It is still a good album not as great as her previous two. If you’re looking for a more inspirational album that has many upbeat tracks this is a good option but I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to find this. 2/5
