With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha's consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late. Earning Neha's trust comes at a price -- Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

The scale is 1-5. One being low and five being high.

Cliché: I don’t need to really explain this one…was it a typical story that followed very similar storylines that many authors over use? 1 out of 5---> Not cliché. The way she writes doesn't go into circles. I really enjoyed the slow burn to this dark romance.

Humor Me: How funny was the story? The dialog between the characters? 1 out of 5--->This was more of an adult serious read so there wasn't much to laugh at. But I did for sure smile at the many small romantic moments between the two.

Sizzle & Burn: How romantic was the story? And it is also the scale of how steamy things get between the characters that fall in love. 3.5 out of 5---->This is by no means deep dark erotica. I typically don't read such books. This book was a slow burning romance that surrounded an angel homicide case. The more you read and the deeper you enter into this world the more burn you feel from these two.

Called It!: This one is about the mystery behind the crime, situation, or hardship that is going on in the story. Did the author surprise me or did I know who the bad guy/antagonist was all along? 1.5 out of 5--->This author always gives me a good story to follow that I can't jump to the end to prematurely with my guess. I love the feeling and being able to read a story I have to read to learn what actually happens.

Exciting Extras: Did I fall in love with the background characters? How badly did I want to learn or hear more about the story of the main characters friend(s) or family member(s)? 5 out of 5----> I want to learn about, uhhh, I forgot his name. But the angel that is very light and hates being touched. This one I want to learn his story and see him find love. Also, it would be neat to follow Viper's story line too! Can't wait to read more!

What! It’s Over!: This one is rating how badly I want to read the next book in the series. 5 out of 5----> It is not if it is when I can get my hands on the next book! Can't wait to re-enter into the world Nalini has beautifully created.

I really like Jason and Rapheals seven but this story was kinda boring and drawn out. it would have been better as an anthology
