I'm enjoying the County Cork mystery series. Maura is a likeable main character and provides an outsider/insider look into a small town in Cork County, Ireland. I've never been to Ireland, so I don't know how accurate Connolly is in her portrayal of the geography, the people, the feeling of Ireland. But I do like what I've been reading. I especially like how some of the characters come through as much more than they are originally envisioned. Stereotypes are shattered. I'm hoping Maura is able to solve the issue of serving food/light meals in her pub, and soon. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
