"A much loved woman's body is found in her apartment. A victim of horrendous overkill, her dining room table is perfectly set for a romantic dinner, but her devoted boyfriend has an alibi. With few clues leading to a suspect, LAPD's Lieutenant Milo Sturgis calls in psychologist Alex Delaware for help. Then another woman is shot, execution style, with three bullets to the back of her head. Her husband is left with her profitable business but he too has an alibi. The plot is a little farfetched, but Delaware is still a real psychologist who acts and talks and thinks like a real clinical psychologist and not like someone's half-baked notion of one. Yeah, he's jazzed up for the sake of the stories, but has a back story of his own to explain it. He sounds like Kellerman's alter ego.....

Kellerman's books seem to get more and more farfetched as the years go by. This one was not great.

Read the book and couldn't find any redeeming points for it. The plot went on about multiple murders and ended on a flat note. No need to wait anxiously for this book!

Dumb and Dumber. Or perhaps, the dumbest yet.
