A poignant and gentle novel about a girl who survives a tragic accident as a teen, but loses her best friend. Years later, while she is still dealing with residual physical and emotional effects of the accident, she suddenly and inexplicably finds herself in a world where everyone around her remembers a different version of the past several years, and her best friend is miraculously alive--has she lost her mind, or has everyone around her lost theirs? This book favorably evoked Hallmark movies for me, and finishing it as we approach the holidays was perfect timing!

Great read kept me puzzling even after the last page.

Brit lit with 3 of my favourite themes. Is it a parallel universe? Is it amnesia? Actually, that's only 2 themes, but anyway, you'll enjoy puzzling out why Rachel wakes up to a life that doesn't match her memories of the past 5 years. Have a box of Kleenex handy for the ending.
