In his book, The Discovery of France”, author Robb takes us back to history and geography of France, all the way back to pre-revolutionary France. And if that book gave your knowledge of French geography and place names a good workout you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. A couple of hundred years into France’s past is a mere walk in the park compared to what Robb’s Middle Earthe has in store for you.
This time he takes you way back to pre-Roman times to a time and places most of us had hardly ever known about.
While hardly spell-binding for many, those with an interest in the world of the celts, the druids and what they accomplished on their earth will find this book of immense interest.
Those who wish to read further on this subject will find that Robb has provided the reader with an extensive “works cited” reading list as well as an equally generous selection of relevant notes.
