Rush pulls you headlong into the thrilling, high-stakes world of Eve Silver's teen series The Game, about teens pulled in and out of an alternate reality where battling aliens is more than a game--it's life and death. Eve Silver's teen debut offers science fiction and gaming fans romantic thrills at a breakneck pace. New York Times bestselling author Kelley Armstrong says, "Smart and original, Rush is an action-packed ride with plenty of heart."

Sixteen-year-old Miki Jones's carefully controlled life spirals into chaos after she's run down in the street, left broken and bloody. She wakes up fully healed in a place called the lobby--pulled from her life, pulled through time and space into some kind of game in which she and a team of other teens are sent on missions to eliminate the Drau, terrifying and beautiful alien creatures. There are no practice runs, no training, and no way out. Miki has only the guidance of secretive but maddeningly attractive team leader, Jackson Tate, who says the game is more than that and what Miki and her new teammates do now determines their survival--and the survival of every other person on this planet. She laughs. He doesn't. And then the game takes a deadly and terrifying turn.

This was an amazing book!! I really loved that Miki was so relatable, because of the traumatic experiences she encounters. And the way she deals with all the confusion she faces with everyday things and also some other things you would not normally encounter leaves me in awe of her.

Rush left me in awe of wonder and pulls me in some other world where I found myself fighting off different emotions and also the fear of the inside which creates a different scenario for me to left in the deep base of imagination where all the things in Rush get together like the aliens, the people and some humans, and make a new character. Overall, the book was awesome. Can't get myself to put it aside.

This book is quite good. The main character Miki is realatable in so many ways as she been through tragic times in her life and shes very angry about it. Coming from her perspective as a regular person to a sudden stampede like almost of alien wars is humorous but also quite suspenseful. The more you read this book the more it all starts to make sense and i think that's why you cant stop reading because you always want to know the answer.

Interesting, different story (if you're like me and are getting tired of the typical YA dystopia/vampire/supernatural stories). Just a warning, the ending is a hell of a cliff-hanger. I'll definitely be checking out the next book.
