Wow! Courteney is a fantastic storyteller. Aside from a bit in the middle about Jack's musical education which I felt went on a bit too long, and the fact that Jack seems tad too lucky sometimes, the story flows beautifully. I loved all the characters and the fact that it was set in the town where I grew up. I wish the book was longer than 711 pages! This was Courteney's last book. I would definitely recommend it.
