Explore the previously unexamined life of the everyday feline. Discover the answers to questions such as: 'How did that spot get there?', 'How did this priceless object break?', and 'Who is the real boss here?' Filled with humor and darling snapshots of furbabies in action, you don't have to know a kitty to appreciate this prose.

It’s a book of poems by cats, of course. I enjoyed it so much I may have to buy my own copy. It’s a collection of humorous poems and photographs from Francesco Marciuliano, that anyone who has lived with a cat would enjoy. Lots of laugh-out-loud lines. Also available as an ebook. (submitted by RM)

Disappointing. Best thing about it was the title.

I just loved this book. Every one of the snippets is true even when they appear to contradict another. That is, after all, the cat. The title is perfect. We have a problem cat that truly thinks this way. I love him because he's wondrously funny and sweet (except to his poor sister) but I've learned over the years that you can, at times, read his mind and know when he's thinking "I could pee on this."

In my humble opinion, this is the only book of poetry worth reading.

This book is really funny. It has real photos of cats and silly poems. I think everyone will like this book. Review by Emma Ihly.

This is a really fourth-rate book. A pathetic example of the moronic times we live in.

One of the best books on cat behavior ever ;)

So good, I reread it several times and then bought my own copy. If you don't laugh so hard you cry, this book is not for you, or you hate cats. / Available as an ebook from the Electronic Library (NBPLS)

This short collection of poems is all written from a cat's point of view. It is divided into four chapters: family, work, play, and existence. and the poems are all amusing and spot on. The author really gets into a cats head for these. I could see my cat and others I know in these verses. Light-hearted and fun, a good choice for any cat lover.

In ancient Egypt / We cats were gods / We ruled the heavens / We reigned on earth / So kneel before me / I said come to me / Uh, listen to me / How about just a treat then? / Okay, maybe a toy / Some crumpled paper would do / I’m not picky

You can’t grasp for glory / from your chair / You can’t seize life / thinking only of loss / And you can’t grab a laser pointer dot / on the wall / No matter how much you try
