Need for speed most wanted is an arcade racer made by Criterion Games and published by EA. The goal of the game is to beat the 10 most notorious racers in Fairhaven called the Most Wanted. There are 41 cars that can be unlocked by just finding the parked car and hoping into it. You can upgrade your car by winning races. There are different types of races circuits, sprint, speedtrapes, and pursuits. You can unlock nitrous, tires and chassis by beating circuits and speedtrapes. You can unlock suspensions and transmissions by beating the pursuits and sprints.
The Price: $29.99-$69.99
Background: This game takes place in the city of Fairhaven, you are free to explore the entire city as soon as you begin to play, and there are plenty of items you can find if you do so, including vehicles, speed cameras, cops and smash able billboards.
Audience: Car Maniacs- they will love this game because of the variety of super cars.
Game Physics: The game physics are pretty interesting, no one is going to confuse this for a simulation game like Forza or Gran Turismo, but neither are they going to confuse this game for a pure arcade racer like the previous Burnouts.
Pros: The open world and graphics complement each other, and you’re going to have a pleasant time playing the game and looking at the landscape.
Cons: The racing gets repetitive after a while. There is no story, oncoming traffic visuals are done poorly.
Conclusion: With an impressive list of real world cars, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is definitely one of the best arcade racing games to date.
