This terrific book is a joy to read and one of my favourite books. I think all women would enjoy reading it. Page lived her life during a time of great change for women when there was ''no map'' for women and the book can show women how we can live a more fuller life. Page influenced many of the noted Canadian authors we have today like Margaret Laurence. Sandra Djwa lives in West Van so we've read her book at our book club. Everyone enjoyed it. (We all agreed it would be a wonderful book to make in to a movie.) If you ever have the chance to hear her speak you will be totally charmed.
