Another great book written and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. So simple to read but full of action and meaning for all ages, not to mention the two little characters learn to work together after first being afraid of each other but overcome their fear and both finally get home. But that is not all, the book has a great unending ending. (April 2018 comment: Having rediscovered this wonderful book, I wish all politicians who are playing political games between our countries would read this book and learn that we must find ways to get along for everyone's well being instead of acting like little tyrants warring over who gets the biggest marble.)

In the book, a boy and an alien get stuck on the Moon. They become friends. My favourite character is the alien.

Cute, amusing, and full of coincidences.
