Watch 10,000 B.C. instead.

One cannot improve upon rugolin's comments below - - ditto! [But I generally watch anything with Rose McGowan in it - - just love her look!]

I am an action movie fan, and this has action. BUT... lots, lots, and lots more of gore. I closed my eyes and waited till the waves of blood passed! This is an interesting take on the "old" Conan--with unforgettable, inimitable, the one and only James Earl Jones. Leo Howard as young Conan is fantastic; what a little actor! I wonder if this is more in tune with the book...

I thought it was slightly better than the Arnold version. It definitely give a new meaning to nose picking!

Not as good, or as fun, as the Arnold original. The bad guy and his daughter focus on gathering the pieces of the "Mask of Acheron," which is supposed to convey a godlike power, but when they succeed, it does little more than stick to his face. Started losing interest about 40 minutes in.

A very action packed, but another totally unnecessary and sleep inducing remake of a film i think i liked but don't really remember it literally from back in the day.The director of this LAME remake was best known as a music video director and unfortunately that's exactly how he directs the extremely TAME violence in this remake.I really hope they don't make a sequel to this and i really hope the director of the this turd RETIRES from directing movies because live action is clearly not his lane,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost interest about a half way through the movie. Nothing great here, wasn't expecting much but apparently I was still expecting something.

This is one of the most disappointing movie adaptations of a comic book and fantasy character ever. The movie 10,000 B.C. is similar and better.

The best Conan ever. Really enjoyed this , better than all the others.

Meh. The best part was the voiceover in the first three minutes. Vaguely entertaining in a braindead sort of way... It could have been much better, and an iconic character like Conan deserves better.
The special feature about Robert E. Howard was better than the movie.

"Conan, what is best in life?"

Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!"

*crowd cheers*

Tamara: Do you ever wonder if our
actions serve some plan?
Some purpose spun by the gods?
Or are we all just doomed
to chaos and ruin?

Conan: I know not and I care not.
I live, I love, I slay,
and I am content.

Opening narraton part 1 of 2:

In between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the Sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world. Then came the dark empire of Acheron, where cruel necromancers sought secrets of resurrection. They crafted a mask from the bones of kings, and awakened its wrath with the pure blood of their daughters. The mask summoned spirits of unspeakable evil giving them power no mortal men should possess. Acheron enslaved the civilized world.

Opening narration part 2 of 2: Only the barbarian tribes were left to rise up against them. The mask was shattered and Acheron fell. Each tribe kept a single shard so that no man might attempt to join them back together and drive the world once again into chaos and ruin. The pieces were scattered across the land and hidden for ages. But prophecy spoke of a man who would one day try to reassemble the mask and rule the world. So came the dawn of Hyborian age, a time both bleak and brutal. And so came a child, born of battle...
