This is an insightful and real life account of the continued racism and abuse of power that continues in our so called politically correct world. It seems impossible to break away from the stereotypical assumptions related to race, background and demographic when the law itself can be misinterpreted and manipulated. A courageous fight to ensure the truth is heard.

Through out human history to the present day "civilized" world, "JUSTICE FOR ALL" has always been an empty promise, forcing the victims of INJUSTICE to rise up against their oppressors.

And, justice is NOT color blind.
Therefore, those who masquerade under the color of authority & in the name of "law & order" get to dispense "justice", based on their own personal whims.

Sadly, many communities & families end up being EXPENDABLE to injustice.

Good - American Violet (2008) 103 min. Racism is alive and well in the new millennium. Southern U.S. still harbours resentments and anger towards the African-American as demonstrated in the film based on a true story. Nicole Beharie plays the mother of four who is erroneously arrested for distributing drugs. The District Attorney has a vendetta towards all African Americans and uses that hate to make law enforcement decisions. The film never lets up as Beharie’s character has to decide whether to assist the ACLU against this particular D.A. Entertaining eye-opener of the judicial system in the U.S.
