The brilliantly shocking story of the ultimate transplant from New York Times bestselling author Robert A. Heinlein.

As startling and provocative as his famous Stranger in a Strange Land , here is Heinlein's awesome masterpiece about a man supremely talented, immensely old and obscenely wealthy who discovers that money can buy everything. Even a new life in the body of a beautiful young woman.

Once again, master storyteller Robert A. Heinlein delievers a wild and intriguing classic of science fiction.

Absolutely one of the most disappointing novels I've read. I've been impressed by much of Heinlein's work and even when I've disagreed with his work I've generally considered it worth reading. This book was not worth reading. I finished it, on the off chance that it would improve, but I consider it wasted time.

Really this book seemed little more than Heinlein's ideas of what sexual mores ought to be (namely, that there shouldn't be any). The idea is that an old man has his brain transplanted when he dies, only it winds up being a female body.

In sum: Heinlein wrote some amazing novels. You should go read them and never bother glancing at this one again. It is not worth your time.
