In the continuing Star Wars series, Princess Lei goes on a rescue mission to recover her children. They were kidnapped by Lord Hethrir, an Empire loyalist who takes them to a camp for enslaved boys and girls. By the author of Dreamsnake.
One of my favorite novels in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. This novel focuses on three separate adventures of the Solo family; Leia, Hans, and their eldest child Jania through the universe. Has more of a focus on relationships and how people change over the course of the series as opposed to battle scenes. Not the best introduction novel into the Star Wars EU (expanded universe) and will not be new movie cannon most likely.
Great book! I got it from my school library and since have read it two or three times. I rarely re-read books except for the Guardians of Ga'hoole. My favorite part is when your with Jaina, Jason and Anikan (don't think I spelt the name right sorry). The parts with Han or Leia aren't as exciting because they're adults. Its nice to see something from a child/kids eye view.

Add a Comment* good characterization
* new, interesting ideas--esp. bad guy "Waru"
* 5-year-old Jaina Solo narrates parts of the story
* sweet Han/Leia moments
