"Fascinating account. I strongly recommend it." --Jeane J. Kirkpatrick

World-renowned terrorism expert Yossef Bodansky explores the transformation of Osama bin Laden from a once promising engineering student into the cold-blooded leader of the radical Islamic terrorist group, al Qaeda. With meticulous detail, Bodansky chronicles the events leading up to the international operation of hunting bin Laden.

In the process, Bodansky pulls together a chilling story that is as ancient as the Crusades; a story that transcends bin Laden and any other single man, one that sweeps from Iran, Afghanistan, and Iraq to Kosovo and beyond. He takes you deep into the heart of centuries-old hatreds that have produced generations of bin Ladens and a terror network of underground armies that can strike virtually anywhere in the world. Fueled by Middle Eastern oil wealth and covertly armed by some of America's closest allies, this terror network is waging a brutal guerrilla war whose aim is nothing short of changing the course of history. The battlefields are increasingly Western city streets, and the casualties are most often innocents caught in the crossfire.

Including information about al Qaeda's pursuit of chemical and nuclear weapons, covert deals between the U.S. and Islamic terrorists, and American efforts in the years-long campaign to capture Osama bin Laden, this book is a sobering wake-up call.

Ya, it was in the media a few years ago that the Bin Laden with dust family got big contracts even in the USA, for example for the upgrading of internet networks, and also building contracts, even in Iraq after the war. Looks like after he "declared war on America" he became a friend of America, and indeed, it was said in our media that before he was allegedly shot dead he told his family to become good and happy American citizens. Maybe he got senile suddenly or we are told wild lies thru the media. His dead body was not shown with the bullet holes in it, because, I guess, he died of kidney failure long before he was allegedly shot by USA troops. If one listens and then remembers what our Media said, for example of the war on Afghanistan, then one can see there are lies and cover-ups all over those wars on Afghanistan and Iraq. It was said on Canadian media that in the Afghan war two Canadian soldiers were "disgruntled" and disgusted with what was being done to those people, and both of them died of "friendly fire." And also in the Media or on talk radio it was said that a famous USA football player, a great patriot went to Afghanistan to fight, but soon he got disgusted with what he saw and he had a diary on it. Soon he was shot by "friendly fire" (two shots in the middle of the forhead) and his diary "disappeared." Not only the small people lie, those on top lie even bigger.

According to American media, before his death Dustbin Laden allegedly told his family to integrate themselves and live peacefully in America. Wow! Seems like before he died he converted to Christianity and "forgave" his "enemies." Well, on the I-net there were news that his conversion was appreciated, because his family was given huge reconstruction contracts in Iraq and in the USA. And it looks like up there some guys who create news are talented fairy tale tellers. The contradiction in this story is so big that only the dumbest minds don't see it. I saw a video where Michel Chossudovski, prof. of economics and director of the Centre of Research for Globalization said to an audience that before 9/11 Dustbin Laden was treated in an American facility in Dubai for his kidney problems, while his "25 Million for him dead or alive" posters were all around the globe. Allegedly he was called an "Intelligence Asset" by insider Americans. His poor illiterate camel drivers did the patsy's job, and this is all he actually did. And he called on his own family to become good American citizens, after He allegedly did the 9/11 job? Hitler once said: "If you tell a lie, tell a big one, then the crowd will believe it."
