This book is, I believe the fourth in the series, and I have been reading them in order. I have always been fascinated by time travel and this series has got me hook, line and sinker. Although it is written for teens, I have really enjoyed each of the books in this series. Each book is a new story in and of itself, but the main characters are always the same so you do need to read the books in order.
