The principal announces that the school is implementing uniforms, and Ian finds himself caught in a conflict. His friend Julia wants him to devise a plan to fight the decision, and the principal is determined to convince Ian the uniforms are a good idea. Ian wants nothing to do with the issue. While doing research for a social-justice class, he learns that the manufacturer of the uniforms is on the top-ten list for human-rights violations. When he tells the principal this, all he gets is a reminder that the penalty for refusing to wear the uniforms is suspension, and Ian finds himself caught in a whole new conflict--one with himself.

An amazing book!! Ending was ok just because I want to find out what happens!
Hope Eric Walters make a second book so we all can find out if he makes it to stop child labor!

This book was very informative, and it taught me to stand up for what I believe in, and that child abuse actually exists in our not-so-perfect world and I am very lucky not to be working in a factory.

This book sucked. It ended right in the main event. It's not ok for us to do this in school, but it's ok for eric walters to. JUST BECAUSE HE'S ERIC WALTERS DOESNT MEAN HE CAN IGNORE THE RULES OF BOOKS!!!!

It's a very nicely planned book. It talks about how at Ian's school, school uniforms are introduced to his school board. Many people hate this idea, because they have no proof against it. But one day, Ian discovers a logo on the tag of the shirt. He searches it online. That company is one of the top ten worst child labor companies! He tries to stop them by talking to the principle, Mr. Roberts. But, he already knows. He cannot change a thing. He decides to use the power of a flash mob and get the whole school to storm in with no uniform, possibly getting them expelled. What will happen? No one knows.
