This is a documentaryn originally broadcast on public television in 1998.
From the days of house calls to the era of high-tech hospitals, the film tracks the passion and determination of medical science in the 20th century.
Through experiments and advances in surgery and medical technology, medical discoveries have lengthened our lives and force us to rethink our assumptions about life and death.
It is an informative, inspirational, eye-opening and thought-provoking documentary.

An interesting review of medical highlights over the last 100+ years. I appreciated remembering the reasons I am probably so healthy at the age I am, and probably still alive. Informative and engaging. I recommend it.
