One of my favourites! This show was cancelled way too soon, but it is just such a funny, sweet, quirky little show. The characters are darling, there's a lot of famous faces. Just a fun show if you want something light to watch!

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this quirky and vibrant series from the incredible and talented Bryan Fuller. This whimsical fairy tale follows a pie maker named Ned who discovers he can bring people back to life with a single touch. This is less of a gift and more of a curse because if he fails to touch them again within 60 seconds, someone else dies in their place, or if he ever touches the reanimated person again, they will go back to their deceased state. I love everyone in the cast (especially Lee Pace and Kristin Chenoweth), the CGI-centric cinematography that perfectly fits the tone of the series, and the fun character dynamics that unfold on screen. There is always something in the show that will make you laugh or smile even when it ventures into morbid territory. Seriously, this is one of the best shows on television. My only complaint is that it was cancelled way too soon.

A whimsical and magical series about a pie-maker named Ned, who can bring people back from the dead with just the touch of his finger. Thanks to his mysterious gift (or curse?), he moonlights as a private detective with his partner, Emerson Cod, where the two solve murders (it's easy to find out who done it, when you can just ask the dead body). Olive Snook, played by the charming and talent Kristen Chenoweth, plays the hopelessly-in-love employee at The Pie Hole, who would do anything to make Ned notice her... That is, until Ned discovers his childhood sweetheart has been murdered, and decides to bring her back to life (for good). The premise is odd, yet delightful--full of colorful images, superb acting, quippy dialogue, and one-of-a-kind situations. By far, my favorite television show of all time!

unique ... quirky ... funny ... a little macabre ... if you enjoy Gorey and Addams you will love this story. This is such a joy and well-executed gem!
