Although the story is at times engaging, the writing is fairly bad and character development is negligible. I found the frequent attempts at humour to be generally unsuccessful. Anachronisms and asides about the inapplicable life of the narrator are common and jarring. Some confusion and contradiction plagued the mythological references throughout the text, vacillating between spiritualism and the classical Greek pantheon. However, readers interested in a very light and quick read will be satisfied.

A well-written retelling of the legend. Recommended for anyone with a taste for Greek/Roman Mythology.
