Add a Commentimplausible and a bit long. I have read worse... and many many which were better.
Another excellent book by Linwood Barclay. A family completely disappears without a trace except for a 14 year old girl. Twenty five years later Cynthia starts looking for answers. The characters are well developed with a really good mystery.
This is a great read. I couldn't wait to get back to it each time I had to put it down! I even stayed up late to finish it.
This book is the reason I can't read suspense any more. I was totally stressed out until I could get to the end - and I had to read to the end to find out what happened, because there was just no way I ever would have figured it out on my own.
I love finding a new author! I really liked this book and have a list of his others to read.
I could not put this book down. Read it in one and a half days. Great story line, flowed smoothly, and well written. Now I look forward to other books by same author. Highly recommend.
kept me guessing till the end
Despite the complex drama becoming increasingly improbable, even ludicrous, you just keep reading; readable, enjoyable, and it made the time pass.
Outstanding!! My first book by this author and I was not disappointed. I definitely have put him on my "must read" list. Great story with a lot of suspense and twists/turns....an ending I didn't see coming. Highly recommend!!
This is definitely my favourite Linwood Barclay book. It's a chilling and suspenseful fast-read.
