"Don't be self-conscious," he whispered in my ear. "If i could dream at all, it would be about you. And I'm not ashamed of it. "
About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was part of him — and I didn’t know how potent that part might be — that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
(Permanently etched in my mind...)
If loving becomes painful then its not love anymore, then its time to let go. Remember that love is kind and just

Comment
Add a CommentSo the book is basically about a girl who moves in with her father and when she gets down there she gets signed into school and when she gets in class this boy was looking at her and when the days go by they are getting closer to each other and the boy edward tries to protect the girl bella and when he does there are obstacles in their way and it stops them sometimes and then another boy comes in named jacob and he also likes bella and edward doesn’t like jacob because basically edward is a vampire and jacob is a werewolf and they have arguments. I kinda like the book it has its ups and down and it has it’s good and it’s bad moments sometimes it can get boring when you keep reading it but at the beginning, it has a lot of good parts to it
There are few YA books I've read that fail so horribly. There is barely a plot, the characters are absolutely horrendous, and Edward and Bella fit just about every criterion for a toxic relationship. The "romantic" dialogue was the only enjoyable part of this book, and that's just because it's so bad that it's laughable. It's really scary for me to think that this relationship was "goals" for so many teenagers back when it came out.
Bella is mental and Edward is too dramatic.
Didn't like the book or their relationship which was stupid
Read if you ever wondered what all the hype was about or if you really like vampire stories, but be forewarned that the writing isn't very good.
I think that if u like romance stories, then you should defiantly read this book.. I loved the realationships throughout it... I recommend this.. Its a great read!
Also Lisami: just so you know some people read the comments just to see if they want to read it or not and you just gave the very end and what happens away so be careful...
I think it's is amazing but a little scary but I love that Bella turn into a vampier and gets a baby half human, vampier and a wolf .
Twilight is a very bland and odd book. It’s definitely not my cup of tea— much too romantic and long and it just drags on and on. It’s quite typical and boring, and the general gist of it is two boys fighting over some human girl. I’m not a fan of romance, but if it would at least have a satisfactory plot, that would’ve been nice. Too bad it doesn’t.

I like the story and the relationship but the vocabulary isn't that interesting it's not a great pieace of read that's going to emotionally attach you to a character it's a good book if you like the relationship drama and all that. And as the series progresses it doesn't get that much better. No hate though
This book was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to pick it up. I only got halfway through the book when I decided it wasn't worth my time. I hear a lot of people complaining about the over the top romance or the weak female protagonist but my main concern was that I found the book to be boring and slow paced. I didn't quite find the main character to be a complete damsel in distress but after a while she definitely got annoying. She complains constantly and views herself as different from other girls, which is a trope I especially hate in YA fiction. If you really adore romance, love triangles, and vampires I would recommend Twilight, otherwise don't waste your time.
I did read this. I regret doing so. I want to forget that I ever touched this book. It really is terrible.
If you want a decent summary of this book, here it is: take Jane Eyre, now make it modern day. Now get rid of most of the interesting parts of Jane Eyre, like the gothic undertones and mad woman in the attic, and replace them with the dullest version of a teenage girl I've ever read. Add in (or enhance, depending on how you read Jane Eyre) creepy abusive relationships and the wimpiest version of vampires, and you have Twilight.
Now go away, Twilight. I want you to be stuck in the "what were we thinking?" barrel of pop culture of the 2000s, right up there with invading Iraq and Good Charlotte.
