A waste of time. And I like Kevin James too!

Paul Blart Mall Cop is a stellar, comedy movie that is one of my favourites. The movie is about a security guard who patrols his local mall. Things get a little crazy and dangerous on Black Friday, and it’s Blart’s job to protect the shoppers. On top of that Paul has hypoglycaemia, which means he can’t go too long without sugar in his system. This causes some extra obstacles in his duties. This film is honestly one of the funniest films I’ve seen in a while. The jokes made and behaviour of the main characters were so comedic and enjoyable. The film was also very appropriate so someone of any age could enjoy! I would rate this film a five out of five stars because of its comedic genre, execution, and overall idea!

A single father, Paul, is working as a mall security cop when suddenly Santa’s little helpers take over the mall and begin taking people hostage; two of which are Paul’s daughter and girlfriend. This forces him to become a real cop, and find a way to stop them before it is too late. He is very hard to take seriously and at many times the movie comes across more so as sad than it does come across as funny or dramatic. The performances by the actors were spotty and the storyline was cheesy, as well. I would rate this movie a generous 3/5 stars and recommend it to those just looking for something to watch. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

When a group of criminals overtake the mall, Paul Blart is the only cop left on the inside. Can Paul Blart, a mall cop save the day against a group of armed criminals? Paul Blart Mall Cop was an amazing movie and really funny, I would definitely recommend this movie to watch with family and friends. I think that Kevin James who plays Paul Blart did a fantastic job with his acting and he really made the movie better in my opinion. Overall, I would give this movie a rating of 4.5/5.

Surprisingly bad. 2 of 10 stars might be too generous.

A man called Paul Blart, who has applied as a cop, and almost passed - except he fell asleep inches from the line. The reason? He has a low blood sugar disorder, and he has to eat sugar every once in a while so he doesn't black out. After failing, he applies as a mall cop. He finds a woman working at a stall, Amy, and instantly falls in love. While he is distracted playing video games in the store arcade, a gang takes over the mall and keep hostages -including Amy. Blart must prove himself by rescuing the hostages and overtaking the gang. After being made a hero for rescuing everyone, Amy and Paul are married (not in the movie, pictures in the credits)
