Description

This program equips participants with practical skills to make healthy, informed food choices by focusing on three key areas: everyday healthy eating tips, understanding Canada’s Food Guide, and learning how to read nutrition labels. Participants will discover simple strategies for building balanced meals, managing portions, and choosing nutrient-dense foods, as well as how to apply Canada’s Food Guide proportions in real-life situations. They will also learn to interpret Nutrition Facts tables, compare products using % Daily Value, and recognize meaningful information on food packages.
