Do you or any of your friends and relatives have an interest in an over-the-board chess tournament?

CITL is a non-profit student-run organization that aims to promote chess across Canada to players of all skill levels, and we're excited to announce that we're hosting an exciting in-person tournament at Markham Village Library!

Tournament Details:

- Will be an in-person event at the Markham Village Library on Saturday January 31st from 10:30am - 2:30 pm 
- Swiss tournament format and unrated, winners will be named based on most points following pre-designated rounds

- For participants ages 7-13, sign up and test your chess skills!
- Please bring your child a lunch or pizza slices can be purchased (cash only).

The tournament will begin at 10:30 AM  and finish at 2:30 PM. Lunch Break will be from 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM.
