Description

Is your child interested in learning how to play chess? CITL is a non-profit student-run organization that aims to promote chess across Canada to players of all skill levels. Through our bi-weekly chess program, CITL provides an environment where children can learn how to play chess.

Details of the program:

  • Takes place in-person at the Milliken Mills Library during the  4th Sunday of each month (except for December 2025, it will be the 3rd Sunday) 
  • Times/dates that we will be running the sessions: 
    • Sept 28 
    • Oct 26
    • Nov 23
    • Dec 21 (3rd Sunday of the month) 
    • Jan 25
    • Feb 22
    • March 22
    • April 26
    • May 24
    • June 28
  • Children ages 6 to 12 years are welcome to join

** As per the library's policy, a parent or guardian is to remain inside the library as your child is in the program. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.**
