Events › The Candyland Code: A Math Escape Room

Step into a world where numbers unlock the path to freedom! Join us for a thrilling, story-based math escape room presented by EmpowerED! 

Participants will work in small teams to tackle a series of logic puzzles and brain teasers hidden throughout a fanciful Candyland. Each challenge will get you to think critically and creatively using concepts such as patterns, spatial reasoning, equations, and measurement.

This 2-hour experience brings together teamwork, storytelling and hands-on problem solving to illustrate and showcase how exciting math is outside of the classroom. This workshop best suits youths ages 10-13 but is open to all levels of mathematical skills (as long as you bring a sense of curiosity and a love for challenges). 

Prizes will be awarded to the team that escapes first!
