About the Author

Ellier Leng is a high school science teacher turned digital nomad who loves reading, travelling, and learning new things. She completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University and her master’s at OISE University of Toronto. Since then, she has ventured on to working in international schools in China and Bolivia, eventually transitioning to online work in teaching, recruiting, copywriting, and more.

Ellier speaks 4 languages and is currently learning her fifth, German. She has travelled to over 25 countries in her first 30 years of life. For the past two years, Ellier and her husband have been housesitting internationally in Panama, Costa Rica, and Mexico, as well as locally in Canada. In July 2024, Ellier published her first book on Amazon, 30 Lessons I Learned Before 30.
