About Alex Wong
Alex Wong is a writer, author, and content producer based in Toronto. An NBA features writer since 2014, he has published work at the New York Times, GQ, Complex, SLAM, and other places. Alex co-hosted the weekly Toronto Raptors show “Run It Back” for Yahoo Sports Canada until 2021 when he joined Sportsnet as the producer and was the co-host of “The Raptors Show With Will Lou,” and helped shape the program into the number-one ranked basketball podcast in Canada until 2024. In 2019, he co-wrote “We The Champs,” a special commemorative book on the Toronto Raptors’ historic run to the 2019 NBA championship. In 2021, he published “Cover Story,” a behind-the-scenes look at the most iconic basketball-related magazine covers of all-time. In 2023, He published “Prehistoric,” a book about the origin story of the Toronto Raptors.
