This hands-on workshop is designed for curious minds eager to explore the wonders of nature and discover the science behind turning kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich soil.

Dress for Mess: Children will be working with organic matter, so they may get a little messy! Please dress accordingly to fully enjoy the hands-on experience.

Geared to children 12 and under.

This workshop is being offered in partnership with the York Region Food Network and York Region as part of the Good Food Challenge, a food waste reduction initiative.
