National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) is a month-long global event in November where individuals commit to writing a 50,000-word novel in 30 days. The NaNoWriMo website allows you to track your progress and connect with supportive groups of people. It's a great challenge, a ton of fun and a fantastic way to beat writer's block and get on the path to creating a complete work of fiction. It's a perfect event to participate in at your library!
Visit Unionville Library to join a short writing marathon with fellow aspiring authors. We'll take you through the process, provide writing prompts to get you started and cheer you on to your writing goals!
