Events › Immigrant Story Exhibit

From August 26 to October 27, Aaniin Library is excited to host the Immigrant Story Exhibit presented by Sholom Wargon Design, Pizza Nova, and Longo's. The Exhibit is a mosaic of immigration accounts from newcomers across the globe. Creator and developer Sholom Wargon launched the Exhibit "to acknowledge the brave souls who paved the way to the better tomorrow we are now experiencing" and highlight the stories of strength, courage, and hope that centre around leaving one's home. 

Visit the Immigrant Story Exhibit at Aaniin Library to read the immigration stories, sign the guestbook, and reflect on the multifold experience of immigration. If you are interested in contributing your own story or the story of your family to immigrantstory.ca, please contact Sholom Wargon at Sholom@immigrantstory.ca.
