Part 1: What is Autism and other Comorbidities Disorder
Results from the Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth (CHSCY) indicated 1 in 50 Canadian children and youth are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in 2019. This workshop provides caregivers/ educators information on:

Part 2: What is 'therapy'
Many caregivers struggle with “how, what, and which therapy should I start with my child?” Child-led approach? Structured format? Play-based format? All of them?
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is commonly used to teach individuals with autism a wide range of essential and necessary skills. This workshop will discuss how Clinical ABA Intervention and other approaches can be used to teach new skills and improve existing behaviours leading to meaningful changes for an individual or their family.
