In today’s presentation, Curtis will be discussing themes such as anti-racism, decolonization, and reconciliation. He is passionate about creating change and advocates for a true nation to nation relationship between the Indigenous Nations of Turtle Island and Canada.

Curtis Vinish is a Tagalog & Métis from Treaty Six Territory. He is currently in his first year of the Indigenous Land-Based Master's Program at the University of Saskatchewan and teaching a grade nine cultural program out of Oskâyak High School. He has presented at various conferences such as the International Think Indigenous Education Conference, the Wîcêhtowin Aboriginal Engagement Conference, and the Auckland University of Technology: Noho Marae (New Zealand).
